Get in the water and make some new friends! This adventure will take you into the water and allow you to swim alongside the many majestic creatures that grace us with their presence through out the our season.
May - June: You can expect to encounter Icebergs and all kinds of nice birds, along with a variety ocean creatures. Explore the nooks and crannies of the beautiful Petty Harbour region.Yes... Marine Mammels are amazing! No doubt about that. During the month's of May and June we are focused on snorkeling and are out to see all the creatures waiting above and below below the surface. Whether it's a shallow cove, under a waterfall, or out in the open ocean, the atlantic ocean will be your own personal show of wonders.
July: WHALE MONTH!!Although it is possible to see marine mammels in the spring and fall. July is when they are on bust. At Ocean Quest we believe in ZERO IMPACT encounters. It's the whales choice if they want to swim with you. If you are the kind of person who wants to experience these wonderful creatures in their natural habitat, and treat them with the utmost respect. Then this is the adventure for you.
August - September: Enjoy the warmest part of Newfoundland's summer zooming around in a zodiac and swimming with the amazing creatures of the North Alantic. Again like May and June the Marine Mammels are around yet not as plentiful. No worries, there is still tonnes to experience on this aw inspiring adventure.

It is best if you are a very comfortable swimmer.
Minimum age 18 to snorkel. 15 if accompanied by parent or legal guardian.
All snorkeling gear included.
Additional thermal and wind protection available upon request.
There is no price difference for non-snorkeling passengers.
1 - What should I bring? At Ocean Quest we like to make it as easy for you as possible so we have covered just about everything. The only thing you will want to make sure you have is clothing appropriate for the day; please bring options for additional layers and rain gear as well as a warm hat and gloves. If you are snorkeling, please bring swimming attire to wear under your wet suit, and a towel for when you get back! We request that all other items be left in your vehicle or locked in our office. One steadfast rule on our RHIB's is that you must assume anything you bring along will get wet!
2 - Should I bring my camera? Cameras are encouraged! However, please make sure it is waterproof. Also make sure you have a way to secure it to your person. The chest harness is not a recommended device.
3 - Is lunch provided? Ocean Quest will provide local snacks, water, and a hot beverage for your trip.
4 - Is tipping the skipper/guides appropriate? Although it is not necessary to tip the crew, we are confident that you will be so thrilled with their efforts that you will want to! The crew works hard to ensure your adventure is safe, ecologically responsible, and fun. They really appreciate any show of gratitude.
5 – Are there any souvenirs available for purchase? Yes! You will be meeting at our adventure shack. There you can purchase a variety of souvenirs. We take cash, or credit!

If you cancel your booking within 14 days of the trip departure the booking is non-refundable.
Prior to the 14 day booking deadline you will receive a full refund less 25%.
